The season four premiere of The Masked Singer was full of new awesome costumes and loads of fun. Already fans of the show are making guesses about who they think is under each of the masks. The Giraffe is probably the most complex on to figure out so far with the tallest costume in ‘Masked Singer’ history.

Some Fans Think The Giraffe Is An Actor From ‘Hamilton’

The Giraffe sang “Let’s Get It Started” by The Black Eyed Peas. Naturally, when viewers saw a giant giraffe dressed in 18th-century garb rapping, their first thought was that one of the actors from the hit Broadway show “Hamilton” had to be behind the mask. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff and Anthony Ramos were all prevalent guesses from fans. After all, The Giraffe was an incredible rapper and we know all of the actors in the show are expert rappers as well. However, Jonathan had more of a singing role in “Hamilton” as King George so it might be a little far-fetched to assume it is him. We can also rule out Lin-Manuel because let’s face it, it does not sound like him.

The most plausible guess out of all three suspects from “Hamilton” is definitely Anthony. In the clue package, The Giraffe said music is in his blood. In “Hamilton,” Anthony plays Philip Hamilton, the son of Alexander Hamilton. Philip learns to rap from his father in the play.

In the clue package, he also says he became the butt of everyone’s jokes after taking a risk. Anthony became the source of several memes and viral tweets for taking on this role because he is 28 years old in real life, and portrays a nine-year-old boy in the show. Anthony is also the star of the upcoming movie In The Heights, so the tall giraffe costume could very well be an ode to the movie title.

So Who Is The Giraffe?

While the judges guessed that it may be Vanilla Ice, Travis Barker or Garth Brooks under the mask, fans think they have finally cracked the code. A very popular guess on social media has been Fred Durst the lead lyricist of the popular 90s rap-rock band Limp Bizkit. For starters, Fred is an awesome rapper and has collaborated with pretty much every well-known artist out there. He has had quite a bit of controversy throughout his career which may explain the highs and lows in his clue package. There were also three dollar signs in The Giraffe’s clue package which may be a reference to Fred’s song “Three Dollar Bill, Y’all.” And while The Giraffe costume is super tall, Fred is 5’8″ so the costume may again be a way to throw people off.
