The Jonas Brothers are heading out on their Remember This tour later this month, so they’ve been hard at work preparing. Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas shared one really cool way to rehearse on Instagram over the weekend.

The method is called “Game of Keys,” and it involves testing one’s ability to sing in the right key for a song without hearing it. Kevin tested Nick, and he totally aced it.

Jonas Brothers Play ‘Game of Keys’ Ahead of Tour

In the video, Kevin and Nick are hanging out together, with Kevin on the couch and Nick in an armchair. Kevin tells Nick, “You need to sing ‘Leave Before You Love Me’ without hearing it, within the right key, right now.”

Nick does as requested, and he gets it right. After that, Kevin challenges him to do it with their songs “Remember This” and “Sucker,” and Nick once again nails the challenge. That certainly bodes well for their upcoming tour, although we’d love to see Kevin and the third band member Joe Jonas try it out.

Nick won’t be a coach on the upcoming new season of The Voice, but we wonder if he’s ever played this game with his team members in past seasons, or if he’s tried it out with his fellow coaches before a performance.

When Does the Remember This Tour Start?

The Jonas Brothers are going on tour later this summer with country star Kelsea Ballerini. The tour is named after their recent single, “Remember This.” Their first tour date is August 20 in Las Vegas, and the tour will run through October. Check out the dates on their website.

The brothers recently shared their excitement about the upcoming performances, with Nick pointing out to Jimmy Fallon that they’re “one of the last tours to go out pre-COVID, and we will be one of the first ones back, outdoors, in front of our fans again.”

The brothers also wrote a memoir together called Blood, set to be released in November. It tells the story of their lives and careers from three different perspectives.
