The Jonas Brothers just announced that they have joined the soundtrack for the new film Space Jam: A New Legacy. The Jonas Brothers Announce They Are Part of the Soundtrack For ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’

“The best is NET to come (Get it? Basketball joke) Excited to announce that we will be part of the @SpaceJamMovie soundtrack coming July 9th 2021!! See the movie in theaters or stream it on HBO Max starting July 16. Let’s get it!” the group wrote on their social media pages.

In the accompanying video posted to commemorate the announcement, Space Jam: A New Legacy star Lebron James twirls a basketball on his finger. Bugs Bunny passes a basketball to the Jonas Brothers. They all fight over the ball and it’s Joe who snatches it and hands it off to rapper Aminé. Other celebrities who will be performing tracks on the album are rapper Lil Baby, In The Heights star Anthony Ramos, and rappers 24kGoldn and Lil Tecca.

Gospel singer Kirk Franklin, Masked Singer star Lil Wayne, P-Lo, Big Freedia, Joyner Lucas, Salt-N-Pepa, The Voice mentor Leon Bridges, Symba, Brockhampton, and Kash Doll will also be featured on the album. The Voice coach John Legend, SAINt JHN, G-Eazy, White Dave, and Duckwrth round out the video announcement. Though they were not featured in the video, Lil Uzi Vert, Saweetie fresh off of her Gwen Stefani collaboration, and Chance the Rapper will perform on the soundtrack as well.
