The ‘Embarrassing’ Wedding Gift Luke Bryan Plans to Give Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani

Country star Luke Bryan wasn’t present at his friend Blake Shelton’s wedding to Gwen Stefani, but he still plans to get the couple a gift to celebrate their nuptials. However, they probably shouldn’t expect a nice toaster.
Bryan recently told People that he’ll be giving the couple a gift “with the Luke Bryan touch on it.” He has a history of giving unusual gifts, as his fellow American Idol judge Katy Perry can attest.
Luke Bryan to Give Blake Shelton an ‘Embarrassing’ Gift
Bryan didn’t attend Shelton and Stefani’s recent wedding, saying he “found out with the rest of the world.” He’s not alone, as Shelton’s friend Adam Levine apparently wasn’t invited either. The wedding was reportedly for the couple’s closest family and friends.
“I have started my mental wedding gift soirée,” Bryan told People about his present for the couple. “I’m going to get a big box and there will be embarrassing items in there.”
He added that the gifts in the box will be “funny, sarcastic items.” As for Shelton and Stefani’s relationship, he said those two don’t need his advice, adding, “You can look at them and really understand and tell how much they love each other and they’re enjoying each other. Any advice is always just talk it out and stay the way they are.”
Bryan added that photos from the couple’s recent nuptials prove they’re “made for each other.” It’s nice to read such supportive comments from the star, considering he and Shelton are always poking fun at each other.

Bryan Likes to Give His Friends Weird Gifts
Bryan has a history of giving his friends unique gifts. Just ask Katy Perry, who received an unusual gift from the singer for her baby daughter Daisy Dove. Bryan told Jimmy Kimmel that he got the little bundle of joy a Daisy BB gun to celebrate her birth.
When asked if he thought Perry would ever give the gun to Daisy, Luke predicted that it will “never see the light of day,” adding, “Maybe under lock and key.”
Hopefully there won’t be any guns, BB or otherwise, in Bryan’s box of funny things for Shelton and Stefani, although you never know. Fingers crossed the couple shares the contents of the gift on social media after they receive it.
