New Accusations Involving YouTuber James Charles And Underage Boys Come To Light— Was Tati On To Something?

James Charles has seen his name trending on Twitter non-stop lately after new accusations of child grooming came to light. A 16-year-old TikTok user recently accused the beauty guru of sending him nude photos and trying to get photos in return. This created quite the controversy on social media and prompted James to respond.
James Charles Faces Grooming Allegations From Teen TikTok Star
Isaiyah has over 270,300 followers on TikTok. He posted videos talking about how he and James, 21, began talking to each other on Snapchat. The teen proceeded to show screenshots of James sending him explicit photos. Isaiyah alleges that James asked him for photos in return even after revealing his age. He explained that this made him feel “uncomfortable.”
This led James to post a statement on Twitter. “There’s a video going around about me on TikTok and Twitter of a guy calling me a groomer and I want to address it right away,” he wrote. “The accusation that I have groomed this person is completely false.”

James alleges that Isaiyah lied about his age and said he was 18 which led to mutual flirting between the two. “It’s now clear, based on the video he uploaded, he was taking photos of me with another device, and had an ulterior motive from the beginning” James added.
“James we both know I blocked you, you never asked for my age. After I told you I was 16 you proceeded to ask me for nudes and said it didn’t matter. You called me hot and said ‘I wish the timeline could speed up so you can be 18′” Isaiyah responded to the tweet.
“Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them” according to the NSPCC.
Other’s Have Come Forward With Similar Allegations
Another Twitter user with the handle Life Of Uzzy posted screenshots and videos describing an experience similar to Isaiyah’s. His interaction with James is said to have happened in 2019.
Uzzy posted videos on TikTok, YouTube and Twitter where he claims James asked him to send explicit photos. Their interaction got a bit heated when he refused to answer James’s phonecall at 4:30 am. He described how the whole situation made him “anxious.”
Another 17-year-old Twitter user later shared his story about talking with James. Though he says their experience never got sexual, he found it “weird” that James still wanted to talk to him after learning he is 17.
Gage Gomez And Ethan Andrew Came Forward With Allegations In The Past
In 2019, YouTuber Gage Gomez made claims about his experience with James where he felt “manipulated.” The pair had been talking for a span of five months and it all came crumbling down at Coachella. “James saw this as an opportunity to manipulate me as a person who may or may not have been trying to figure things out about their sexuality, after the fact that I told him I was straight multiple times,” Gage said.
Though Gage was of age at the time of the alleged incident, his accusations of manipulation rang alarms for fans of James. James posted a statement giving his account of their interaction and claimed he never pressured Gage into doing anything.

In 2020, 14-year-old social media star Ethan Andrew alleged that James sent him nude photos. “Because I was young, he thought he could take advantage of me and control me, and every time I refused to do what he wanted… He threatened to ‘out’ ME,” Ethan said in a video. He also alleged that James wanted to fly him out to meet multiple times and he declined each time.
