Meghan Trainor Shares Pics of Her “Spy Baby” with Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor took to Instagram once again to show off her beautiful family. The Clash of the Cover Bands judge shared some adorable family photos of her baby, Riley, and husband Daryl Sabara. You may recall the proud father from his role as Juni Cortez in the 2001 movie Spy Kids and its sequels. Trainor joked that they two made a “spy baby.”
Meghan Trainor’s Baby is a Spitting Image of Dad
Trainor sure has one precious family, and from the pics alone, we can see all the love they share. One thing that everyone also seems to notice is how much her baby looks like dad.
“Damn, you guys really just copy & pasted your husband didn’t you,” one fan commented.
In a previous post, the “All About That Bass” singer answered some questions she gets asked all the time. When asked if she really married the Juni Cortez character from Spy Kids, she responded: “h*ll yeah, we made a spy baby!”
Playing off this inside joke, last month, the proud mother posted photos of her baby wearing a onesie with OSS logo. This is the spy organization featured in the film. Trainor captioned the photo “Juni Jr” to show how her baby boy is a spitting image of dad. I think we can all agree to that.
The couple initially met back in 2016 after being set up by actress and mutual friend Chloe Grace Mortez. Trainor and Sabara’s relationship quickly escalated into a solid romance. One year later on Trainor’s 24th birthday, she received a proposal from the child star. During the holiday season, her engagement was made under a tunnel of Christmas lights.
Additionally, her family and friends were all present to witness the beautiful surprise. In December of 2018, the couple got married in their backyard. A year to the day that Sabara proposed. The lovebirds also didn’t waste any time getting started on their family. They welcomed baby Riley on February 8.
The Proud Mother Showed Love for Her Husband on Father’s Day
“I got to watch you become a father this year and it was beyond beautiful,” Trainor shared on Instagram. Happy First Father’s Day @darylsabara you are already an incredible father 4 months in! Our baby is so lucky to have you as a dad ❤️ and happy Father’s Day to my legendary father @garytrainor I love you both so so much! P.s swipe to see Daryl’s new dad bod.”
The couple seems to be happier than ever, and even as a new mom, Trainor has not slowed down on work. Back in March, the singer signed a deal with NBC Universal. The Grammy winner will star in a new comedy as part of the overall contract. Keep an eye out for the developing sitcom, streaming soon.
