We are loving the sixth season of The Masked Singer already! The costume and performers are crazier than ever, and we are here for it. In what is being referred to as the “smelliest costume ever,” the Skunk took the stage in high fashion.
But who is under the Skunk mask? We’re breaking down the clues and making our big prediction!

Clues on The Masked Singer Season 6
In the season premiere, we got a lot of clues about the Skunk’s identity. She starts by talking about how she relates to the duality of a Skunk, the “yin and yang of it all.” She is seen in a golden model train.
Skunk mentions there are two sides to every story, as we see Men in Black reading a newspaper with the headline “Has the Golden Ear Winner Lost Her Mind?” with a picture of Jenny McCarthy on it. Skunk is holding a big pink purse with gold on it, then a ticket with departure from Seoul, South Korea.
Skunk says there’s a misconception about her that she’s quick to get into a fight, but that she’s actually not. A decorative vase with a “D” on it is shown. Throughout the clues, we also see the Men in Black trying to steal her bag and she fights them off. Skunk talks about taking a break to focus on her family, but now she’s back! The clues finish with her spraying attackers with “Hater Spray.”
Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Skunk
Robin Thicke thought Skunk might be Gloria Gaynor, Faith Evans, or Toni Braxton. Ken Jeong responded with saying it sounds “exactly like” Anita Baker. McCarthy threw out Mary J Blige as an option as well.

Faith Evans!
You can’t argue with the vocals and this is definitely the R&B star! Now let’s go through how the clues line up too.
Faith Evans has been involved in her fair share of controversy over the years, so all those clues about haters and having “two sides to every story” make sense. While the Seoul and “D” vase clues seem like they may have deeper meaning, the surface of them tells it all.
She’s a soul singer and a diva! What else is there to know? Her mention of taking a break to focus on her family also checks out, since Evans has taken a few hiatuses throughout her career, and hasn’t released an album since 2017. Lastly, her clue from the Sneak Peek was her with Elvis. We’re thinking this is a nod to her album “The King & I” since Elvis is known as The King of Rock & Roll.
