Everyone’s favorite set of brothers are gearing up for a summer tour. Dancing with the Stars pros Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy’s tour Maks and Val: Stripped Down is an “up close and personal show” that promises to leave everyone in the crowd breathless. Pretty much all of the promotional content for the tour features the duo in their underwear.

Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy to Embark on National Tour Ahead of ‘Dancing With the Stars’

This tour was announced after the Covid-19 pandemic forced the brothers to cancel their previously planned summer 2020 tour. As more live shows are returning with safety measures in place, they felt it was the perfect time to give the people what they have been waiting for. The second the tour announcement was made, fans flooded the Instagram comments section to say that they already purchased their tickets. One fan even mentioned she will be “hollering” in the front row in Kansas City.

The tour page boasts that the show will provide fans with “an intimate evening packed with breathtaking dancing, deeply personal storytelling, and world class showmanship true to the Chmerkovskiy name.” If you plan on attending the event, jump on your opportunity to get tickets now.

We can probably expect some familiar faces from Dancing with the Stars to pop up during the tour. Maks is married to pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd and Val is married to pro dancer Jenna Johnson. The last tour date falls at the end of August, just ahead of the fall premiere of Dancing with the Stars Season 30.

Will They Be Returning to ‘DWTS’ This Fall?

So far, no official cast list has been announced for Season 30. However, it is expected that Val, Jenna, and Peta will most likely return to the show as pro dancers. Not even the pros know if they will make the cut for the new season until around August. Val has expressed many times that he would like to be part of the show as long as they decide to call him back. Not having him on Season 30 would be a major shock to longtime fans of the franchise.

Maks, on the other hand, is fresh off of his time on The Masked Dancer as The Sloth. He has ventured down other avenues over the years after leaving Dancing with the Stars in 2017.

During a 2018 interview on The Real, Maks explained his decision to leave the show. He said becoming a father and a husband gave him a new mindset. He no longer wants people to associate him with his antics on the show.

Maks has returned to the show as a guest judge multiple times, but seeing him as a pro dancer again does not look like it will happen this year. But, Season 30 is a huge milestone so fans should always expect the unexpected ahead of the official cast announcement.
