‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’s American Idol Encore Will Bring Back a Favorite Season 19 ‘Idol’ Finalist
Only one winner will be announced during the American Idol season finale, but that does not mean that the journey is over for the other finalists.
Fans of the show can play a key role in bringing back a favorite contestants for another national TV appearance. Viewers of Live with Kelly and Ryan’s can vote for a finalist to have an encore performance on the show via Live’s American Idol Encore.
Hosted by longtime American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and long-standing talkshow favorite Kelly Ripa, Live’s American Idol Encore will allow viewers to choose one of the eliminated top ten finalists to perform on Friday after the finale.
‘Idol’ Fans Vote on Which Finalist Takes the ‘Live’ Stage
By the Live performance, we will already know who was crowned the victor of season 19. But from May 24, at 9:00 a.m. until May 25, at 9:00 a.m. ET, viewers will choose one of the eliminated Top Ten finalists to perform on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
For twenty-four hours only, viewers will get to vote via an online poll, and choose which finalist they would most like to see return to national television. On Wednesday, hosts Kelly and Ryan will announce which of the eliminated American Idol singers has been selected to appear on Live.
The link to the online poll for voting will be available on May 24.
