Heidi Klum Tries to Scare Ellen DeGeneres, Fails Miserably
During the interview, Klum also talked about her daughter Leni’s modeling career, as well as her dog. The supermodel is currently judging Season 16 of AGT, airing Tuesday nights on NBC.
Heidi Klum Tries to Scare Ellen DeGeneres
DeGeneres told her audience that she hasn’t scared anyone on the show for a long time because of COVID. That’s when Klum popped out of the host’s “scare box” and screamed. DeGeneres wasn’t fazed at all by the attempted scare, telling Klum, “I don’t get scared.”
However, the host invited Klum to sit down and chat with her. During their conversation, Klum presented a kangaroo scrotum that had been turned into a bottle opener. She received it as a gift when she was in Australia. Understandably, DeGeneres wasn’t too thrilled with Klum’s show-and-tell.
Klum expressed her pride in 17-year-old daughter Leni, who has launched a modeling career. She said she’s been on the sidelines “cheering her on” during shoots, and she has told Leni that “it’s okay to say no to things.”
The model credited her own parents for the positive experience she had modeling. “They always told me, when you look in the mirror you have to be happy with who you see there,” Klum recalled. “Don’t ever let anyone tell you what to do. Always go with your gut instinct, and just do what you want to do.”
Klum Talks About Her Irish Wolfhound
Klum also talked to DeGeneres about her dog, a 2-year-old Irish wolfhound. She described him as “like a little pony,” explaining that she got him in Germany from her husband’s family. She said her household also has another dog and a cat, and they all get along.
Klum first posted on Instagram about her pup, named Anton, in 2019. The one difficulty Klum mentioned to DeGenees about having such a big dog is that it’s hard to wash him. She ends up giving him baths in the shower.
During the show, Klum also played a game called Danger Word with fellow AGT judge Howie Mandel. During the game, Klum got hit with slime, blue powder, and something brown. Needless to say, they lost.
