During an interview with ET Canada, Katy Perry may have just found the perfect name for her baby girl. As she is just a few days away from releasing her “Smile” album and giving birth, the mommy to be is ready to pop. Do Katy and fiance Orlando Bloom already have a baby name picked out?
Katy Perry Might Name Her Baby After “Smile Album”
Katy joked that she has two babies coming out, her album and her daughter. She said that her daughter can’t decide if she wants to be the opener or the headliner. First, Katy was asked if her daughter would be named Daisy. This of course would be an ode to her latest hit song “Daisies.” Katy was also asked if she would be naming her daughter after her song “Harley’s in Hawaii.” She seemed pretty shocked that she never thought of these names herself. “I’ve never thought of Harley… ever! Wow! Harley is a great name! Harley Bloom. Hold on…excuse me I’m writing it down” the American Idol judge said. She went on to say that of course she and Orlando already have a list of names that they like but they would be adding Harley to the list. “But honestly, I’m telling you, this is a really great addition. I’ll send it to [Orlando]. It’s beautiful!”

“I think this is going to be on my forever list,” Katy said after hearing the name, Harley. She also remarked that she thinks she will have another baby in the future that she could consider naming Harley. Another baby name that Katy has taken a liking to is Fleur. Katy appeared on Hits Radio Breakfast in July where she spoke to host Fleur East. Katy added the name to her list after being inspired. “It’s actually really beautiful. Legit, it may go on the list. I’m going to text him (Orlando) right now” she said during the show. Imagine being the inspiration behind Katy’s baby’s name.
Katy Also Opened Up About The Parenting Style She Hopes To Have
When asked if she worried about her daughter seeing regretful things from her past, Katy had no worries. For her daughter, she wants to give her the ability to make mistakes and have all kinds of great life experiences. “The greatest thing I can give to her I think is the gift of freedom and that she can try and fail and learn and grow from that” the gushing mommy to be said. “What I had growing up was really rigid and what I hope to give is really open and regrets are a ghost you’ll never catch.” Katy previously spoke in an interview with Apple Music about how she plans to be a working mom. She said that women can do it all and not have to give up one thing or the other.
