Carrie Underwood Gave The Best Gift to Mickey Guyton’s Five-Month Old Son

Carrie Underwood may have just given the best gift to Mickey Guyton’s five month old son, Grayson. Is Grayson a golden ticket winner in the making? It sure seems like it!
Underwood sent the toddler a tiny piano, so he can work on his music skills. In the video, we see Guyton, Grayson, and their dog surrounding the piano. Guyton holds her son up to the piano, and he starts to play. Nothing is cuter than a toddler banging on a piano, so this video is really enough to bring a smile to almost anyone’s face.
Guyton shared on Twitter that she was having a rough day before the piano’s surprise arrival.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. To watch him light up as he plays is the heart explosion I didn’t know I needed,” said Guyton on Twitter.
Underwood replied to Guyton’s tweet saying she’s glad he likes the gift, and mentioned how she was sure he’d be musical too.
It sure seems like Grayson takes after his mom in the musical aspect after watching this video. Could his talent have just been discovered at five months old? It may be soon to tell, but we think country music definitely runs through his veins.
Mickey Guyton takes the American Idol Stage
Soon after Grayson was born, Guyton had the opportunity to sing during the American Idol season 19 finale, as a guest. She finally got to take the Idol stage after being rejected in her audition for season seven.
In this performance, she sang her hit song, “Black Like Me” with contestant, Alyssa Wray. The two flawlessly sang the hit tune about being black in America.
“Black Like Me” peaked at #4 on the Billboard charts for country digital song sales in March following Guyton’s performance at the Grammy’s. So, it’s no surprise that a contestant would want to perform with this country icon.
Guyton also just announced that she will be releasing a new single on July 30, followed by a new album on September 24. We can’t wait to hear what she has planned for her fans in her upcoming release!
